About

Lewis & Lewis Productions Inc. is a Vancouver based production company founded in 2016 by sisters and writing partners Bronwyn Lewis and Molly Lewis.

BRONWYN LEWIS

Bronwyn has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Simon Fraser University. She is a published poet and author whose work can be found most recently in the “No Fun Fiction” section of the local magazine Discorder. With a background as a barista in a trendy Vancouver coffee shop, Bronwyn is aesthetically inclined and also brings a contemporary wit and cynicism to characters and scenarios inspired by her customer service experiences. She now applies her literary talents as a screenwriter and producer with her own production company co-founded with her sister Molly

MOLLY LEWIS

Molly received her Master of Arts degree in Film Studies from the University of British Columbia in 2015. Her thesis explored evocations of Henri Bergson’s philosophy of memory in the notorious AMC series Mad Men. As a passionate academic interested in historical dramas, child/youth cinema, and literary adaptations, she has been invited to speak on the radio as well as at media studies conferences across North America. Her essay on Rumble Fish, Francis Ford Coppola’s 1983 adaptation of the young adult novel by S.E. Hinton was recently published in Boyhood Studies: An Interdisciplinary Journal. Deeply inspired by the work she studied, she has now made the transition from the academic to the creative side of television. She envisions herself at the helm of a series as writer and showrunner alongside her sister Bronwyn.

Together, Bronwyn and Molly write female-centered, character driven television. They tell stories about flawed, and fully-rounded female protagonists. They have both been voracious readers and avid watchers of television ever since childhood. Molly’s knowledge of current television trends and cinematic history combined with Bronwyn’s literary abilities makes them a productive and thoughtful team.
